“Don’t just stand for the success of other women – insist on it.” - Gail Blanke, President and CEO of Lifedesigns.
An entrepreneur is a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk. This term, previously used to referred to men in the business world, is now being used to represent the fast growing world of women business owners. Believed to now represent approximately 30 percent of businesses in the United States, entrepreneurial women are starting to take charge as they passionately prove how strong and capable they are. Bonners Ferry Chamber celebrates this success as they host the 2016 Women in Business Event at the Kootenai River Inn.
On Saturday, May 14, women of Boundary County are invited to attend The 2016 Women in Business Event in the Ktuxana Room of the Kootenai River Inn. With this year’s theme of “The Exponential Woman - Thinking Outside of the Box, Thinking Like There Is No Box,” the event will run from 10am to 5pm as the room is filled with great speakers, food, networking, inspiration, prizes and drawings!
The event is open to all women who are planning to open or already have their own business, whether it is in retail, online, or home-based, or to any woman that is interested in learning more about entrepreneurship. Guest registration is $35 per person or there is an opportunity to promote your business as a vendor or sponsor as well. All registration inquiries should be directed to Alison Henslee at 208.610.8806.
Come meet with women who are passionate, determined and committed to turning their ideas into a reality as they build successful businesses and help others learn about living a life you love.
