ABOUT KELLY
Kelly Williams began as a media intern for Living Local Magazines in September 2015 but quickly proved her value as a member of our team. As of 2016, Kelly moved into a fulltime role as media manager for our Washington publications.
Kelly graduated from Gig Harbor High School in 2011 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from Gonzaga University where she also minored in marketing and promotion. A native of Fox Island, WA, Kelly works primarily with our staff in Gig Harbor.
Kelly is active in the community she calls home. She is the assistant cross-country coach at Gig Harbor High School and also used to be employed at a local running specialty story, Route 16 Running & Walking. “I am very involved within the small running community in Gig Harbor,” said Kelly.
In her spare time, Kelly said she enjoys going to the beach, running, drawing and spending time at her family’s cabin at Lake Entiat. Regarding her work with Living Local 360, Kelly said she enjoys being able to work in Gig Harbor and promote all the great events that the community and businesses put on each month. “The events build good relationships and create a strong community which I’m excited to be a part of,” shared Kelly.
When asked who is the person she admires most, Kelly responded that it is her cross-country and track coach, Patty Ley. “She taught me to believe in myself, have big dreams, and the importance of a team. She is selfless, intelligent, caring and a true leader.”
