About me and my philosophy 

I firmly believe that an exceptional puppy starts with good quality parents and a good experience with humans … just bloodlines, confirmation and personality traits aren’t enough for the exceptional puppy, although these factors are very important and I take great care to breed genetically healthy and beautiful puppies. But, I also believe that a puppy’s first family and “mom” teach them important lessons in socializing a healthy, happy puppy unafraid of new experiences.



My dogs are not breeding animals living in a kennel somewhere on the property; they are part of our family. They live in the house, cuddle with us on the couch in the evenings, and, play with me, my children and grandchildren and when the puppies are ready they too are out playing with us. This way they learn from other adult dogs, mom and from personal experience humans are safe, fun and dependable.



All my puppies are born in the spare bedroom of my home. They stay in the whelping box until they are old enough to explore their space. They are then moved to a “playpen” where they have lots of toys and room to explore and play in a safe environment. From birth the puppies are held multiple times daily and as they age they spend more time in the living areas of my home being held and played with. This way when one of my puppies goes to his forever home he already knows humans are good and he feels safe and happy with them.
