Discover, celebrate, and embrace art! Every month merchants, neighbors and friends gather in downtown Edmonds as they discover the magic of art. Local galleries, businesses and restaurants have joined together to present the amazing works of numerous artists from our area while offering visitors a chance to see what makes each business a unique and vibrant part of the community. You’re invited to join the Edmonds ArtWalk as it continues to highlight the amazing qualities of our town.
Over the years, Edmonds’ ArtWalk has grown to become one of the largest in the state due to the participation of multiple businesses in downtown Edmonds that are helping to bring in large groups of people from the surrounding communities. Founded in 2002 by Manya Vee and Jeff Stilwell, their dream was to present an opportunity for everyone to enjoy a large selection of art on a regular basis.
The idea was to not only create an area for artists to show and sell their work to the community, but to also give visitors the chance to discover the wonderful downtown merchants and services provided by the town. Now, with a growing assortment of fun events and activities, you will always find something new as you engage your creative mind.
The Edmonds ArtWalk is held every month on the third Thursday from 5-8pm. Over 40 galleries, restaurants, and businesses host local and regional artists join in a celebration of art while helping to cultivate local vitality in our community. Visitors can enjoy numerous types of art including music, dance, theatre, writing, performance, culinary, and fine arts.
