It’s not very often you find someone so passionate about insurance, let alone an entire family – but then, maybe you haven’t met the Campbell family. “Insurance is complicated. We are here to help people make the very best decision so when a claim occurs, the right things happen,” said Trevor Campbell, president of Insurance Services Group, an independent insurance agency located in the heart of downtown Edmonds.
Trevor’s father, Scott Campbell, started the company in 1980 with one simple promise – ‘Always do the right thing for our clients.’ And here they are, 35 years later, making that promise the cornerstone of their success. “We wouldn’t be where we are without that kind of drive and determination to help people make great choices when it comes to their coverage,” said Trevor, who as the second generation leader and has helped shape the company their clients see today, a full service, personal and commercial insurance agency with access to nearly the entire marketplace.
“We work with more than 30 companies to deliver insurance policies specifically tailored for each individual need. Some of those companies include names people know: Safeco, Mutual of Enumclaw, Grange, Hartford, Travelers. We also do business with other companies that rarely advertise, but do a great job for their customers.”
It’s tough in today’s world, when consumers are inundated with insurance ads promising to save them money. But Trevor warns that doesn’t mean the coverage is correct. That’s where ISG can make a difference. “We get to know our clients and their families,” said Trevor. “We understand what they value most and how they want to be protected when a claim occurs.”
Insurance Services takes the time to talk with clients, listen to their needs, understand their situations, and offers guidance to help make sure each client gets the very best coverage at the very best price. “We consistently perform reviews, removing the hassle and worry from the insurance transaction so that our clients can remain confident that the coverage is correct.”
Insurance Services truly is a family affair. Scott started the agency, Trevor leads the agency, his brother, Tyler, is an executive broker on the commercial side, and his mom, Kathy, and sister, Kelly, help with the accounting. But the emphasis this agency places on family extends well beyond the Campbell name.
