Ride Idaho

Ride Idaho is an annual, seven-day, fully supported, cycling tour. The tour is organized and administered by Ride Idaho, a non-profit organization. But we can't take all the credit. It is by the power of many volunteers, working in each community or traveling with us, that we are able to provide a tour of this caliber. We have been pedaling our way through the state since 2005 with these intentions: Inform and inspire cyclists with Idaho's beauty, hospitality and history Provide a positive economic impact in Idaho's communities Promote healthy, active lifestyles Raise awareness of safe cycling Starting with a magnificent boat ride the length of Lake Coeur d’Alene, this year’s ride will venture through the lakeside views of Heyburn State Park, through Kellogg and onward to the gorgeous green forests of the famous Hiawatha Trail. From there, we’ll claim victory after the perfect challenging ride on our way to two cute little towns in Montana, enjoying the kind of breathtaking mountain and forest views that only Montana and Idaho can provide. But that’s not all....the beautiful city of Sandpoint awaits! We’ll enjoy a layover day in Sandpoint with two options: a ride up to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, a ski resort in the Selkirk Mountains that overlooks Lake Pend Oreille and the Bitterroot and Cabinet mountain ranges, and a trip to the famous Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center. Finally, we’ll ride back to Coeur d’Alene, having seen Northern Idaho by boat, trail, and road!
