Park(ing) it on Sherman

Join us September 18-19 for the PARK(ing) it on Sherman - (Better) Block Party! Enjoy live music, food trucks, beer garden, lawn games, skate board and mountain bike demonstrations, and more.

The 1600 block of Sherman Ave will be temporarily transformed into a makers district for the weekend and parking spaces will be turned into public spaces. This is being done as part of the visioning and master planning effort to revitalize the east end of the corridor.

We'll have live music - Strange Brew on Friday, Pat Coast on Sat at 2, Bookshack at 4 and Chiselfish at 6:30.

Any age can participate in the Art Makers Space and create art, there will be Yoga! 11 am on Sat will be Mom & Me Yoga, 11:30 regular Yoga. Saturday also brings Mountain Bike demos, Skateboard demos & more. Both days you can choose some great grub to purchase at the food truck vendors or at the beer garden. Bring the family, it's going to be great!
