EMERGE, a Coeur d’Alene based art studio and exhibition gallery, presents its 3rd Annual Emerge Collective PopUp show Friday, June 10at the historic Wiggett’s building. This popular event features more than 40 regional artists and 90 juried art pieces. The EMERGE Collective PopUp Show is free to the public, with art sales welcomed and encouraged as they benefit EMERGE’S wide range of art classes, scholarships, and artist development programs.
“The EMERGE studio gallery is a space where all things ‘art’ can happen,” says board member and contributing artist Kimber Follevaag. “Creating, viewing, and experiencing art can be transformative; it’s important that it’s also inclusive of the whole community. The popup show creates a piece of thatin one extravagant night,” Follevaag adds.
In addition to art on display, there will be interactive art, live music, and dance performances by local and regional bands. Featured bands include Harold’s IGA, the Frantz Trio, and Jonny J and the FlatFooted Floogies. Dance performances include breakdancing by Tangledroots, belly dance by the Picaresque dancers, and The Nines, music from Coeur d’Alene High School.
A cash only popup bar will feature Paradise Creek Brewing Company and a variety of wines.
