Macadamia Nut Pesto

Coeur d'Alene Recipe Macadamia Nut Pesto

Serves 4

  • 1 large bunch Basil

  • 1 C. olive oil

  • 3/4 C. unsalted Macadamia Nuts

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 3/4 tsp. salt

  • Juice from 1 lemon

  • fresh ground pepper to taste

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix until completely blended.

  2. Top your favorite pasta or use as a spread with bread or vegetables.

  3. This pesto also freezes well for up to 3 months.
